Dans/5 is a platform for young, newly established dance artists in Norway. Dans/5 was first established in 2012 by Caroline Skjørshammer. Maria Kristina Klungnes Berg has worked as a project manager for Dans/5 alongside Thea Åretun Svensson since september 2018.


Maria Kristina Klungnes Berg teaches a variety of students, raging from 7 - 90 years old. She is currently employed as a dance teacher by 'KGB dans og Ballett' and 'Kirsti Skulleruds Ballett- og Dansestudio'. She teaches everything from classical ballet, progressive ballet technique, contemporary dance and hip hop. Maria has been part of organising the summer school for Kirsti Skulleruds Ballett- og Dansestudio since 2018. She has teaching experience from both the UK, Gibraltar and a variety of ballet schools in Norway. Maria is currently working on new ways of sharing her own dance practice with other professionals and movement-loving-people. Upcoming workshops will be posted here.

Maria Kristina Klungnes Berg completed a study in Dance- and Movement Therapy in 2019, and is a qualified teacher in Progressing Ballet Technique (2017). Maria completed the teaching-course as part of her study at NSCD in the UK, and has since then taken a variety of courses to enhance her teaching practice.
